Rebranded as a Tasman Star seafood shop the fish and chippy outlet has been fantastic. Great crispness and fresh fry.
The sashimi is excellent, far better quality and value than the sushi trains down the road.

I follow Tasman Star Seafood on Facebook because I always buy my seafood especially oysters and Kina in Tasman in Varsity Lakes. I was so delighted to see that they have another shop on Olsen Avenue with sashimi choices the same as the one in Varsity. The shop is much smaller but still has good quality seashells and fish. They do offer fish and chips, fresh sashimi and sushi. I visited this afternoon and their seafood and sushi never disappoint.
They also have a nice space outside where you can eat. It was very windy when I visited today and it made it challenging to eat without being blown away lol but it would be good once the weather is back to normal.
I highly recommend this place and I hope it stays here longer like the first shop in Varsity Lakes. 😀

Everything is good except the pricing which doesn't show competitiveness. The purpose of the visit was to buy some raw fish for about 10 kilos. But it just ended up in buying just one raw fish and a small box of fish and chips. We enjoyed the food there but couldn't achieve the goal of getting more raw fish. Trying to find a place with better value in Brisbane.
